Wine Stores Are My Favorite Kind Of Store
Wine stores....One of my favorite places ever to shop. I love browsing for new wines or new products for vino. Whenever I go into one I always end up spending a fair amount of money purchasing local art, charms and bottles of my favorite red here.
What will you find at wine stores
-
well, wine of course
-
wine art
-
wine gifts and accessories
-
things that complement wine...such as cheese
But it's fun, and after your trip is done, and you're at home sampling some of your purchases...It brings back fantastic memories of your trip.
We have two wine stores here at gifts-for-wine-lovers.com, one for my
Canadian friends
and one for everyone else. We have tried to include some unusual little wine knick knacks as well as useful items. Also things that naturally go well with wine.
One of my favorites is a brie baker, cheese and vino are such a natural pairing. You can buy everything from wine charms to wine fridges, and everything inbetween. And if you just want to buy a bottle or two of wine, we suggest you check out Cellars Wine Club, they have a great selection of wines.
Happy shopping!

I love going into wine stores and the clerks love me coming in. I love looking for gifts that are local to the area, I always go home with the vineyards best Reds. But wine isn't the only product available.
I remember, coming across this spectacular gothic style wine rack. It probably held about 300 bottles. I loved it, but alas we had Jeff's little black cavalier and there was no way this giant wine rack was making the 3 hour trip home with us... Sigh. I will look for a similar one till I find it! I will one day find it.
Another favorite of mine at one of these wines stores was a fabulous art wall plaque that read: I cook with wine... And sometimes I even added to the food. That one did come home with us, it's above my kitchen window. I love it. It reminds me of our wine trip every time I look at it.
Local original artwork is another great find in your local wine stores right at the vineyards. After all what better masterpiece than to turn a little grape into a fermented piece of artwork to drink that lasts through the ages. Wine and fine arts go hand in hand.
Another great find in these stores is fabulous art work from locals and cheeses. Mission Hill has an unbelievable organic Gouda cheese that is just to die for. Add your gouda to your newly purchased wine backpack, yes I bought one of these too while I was up there, with its insulated section for cheeses and white wine with your acrylic glasses not breakable you ready to take your wine tasting just about anywhere, don't forget your cheese too.
Just remember to throw in a little box of merlot chocolates. Mmmmm and some pancetta, honey butter and French bread sandwiches.
If you want to be even more mobile, purchase your wine in one of those handy cartons. They are environmentally friendly they come and 750 ML sizes and are easier to travel with thing glass bottles.
You'll probably find them in your government liquor store rather than your local wine tours though. French rabbit is a good one, look for the silver and orange carton. I usually keep one in my wine backpack tote just in case I get the urge to merge with nature and wine at the same time.
Wine stores usually carry all kinds of unusual little Knick knacks and treats explore them out and enjoy.
Cheers
