PONTE WINERIES

My favorite wine is the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Ponte Wineries in Temecula, CA. The complexity of the flavors in the wine make it great to drink over and over again – there is always something new to discover in the glass. On the other hand, the wine is recognizable as a cabernet sauvignon. Ponte did not allow the wine to take on the body of a Zinfindel amongst all of the complexity of their wine. One should be pairing food with the wine as opposed to the other way around – find a way to work this wine into your week!
