My Favorite Recipe with Wine I make is a white wine chicken served over fettuccini that I think tastes excellent. You start with about a pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Fry the chicken in 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil with a clove of minced garlic until the chicken is lightly browned. Then add 1 cup of white wine, a 1 and a half cups of sour cream, a tablespoon for flour, a teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, salt to taste and 3/4 cup of thawed frozen artichoke hearts. Cook the mixture over medium heat until the artichoke hearts are tender and the sauce thickens (about 20 minutes). Serve warm over al dente fettuccini pasta. I like to make a salad with my home made Italian dressing and of course warm breadsticks. The taste of the white wine and the artichokes is an exquisite combination. Whenever I make this my wife tells me it’s better than going out to a restaurant.
