Now chocolate and wine tasting is becoming a bigger and bigger trend every year. If you've ever tried the two together you know why. You've probably had the two together before and not really thought much of it. Perhaps a white chocolate creme de brulee with a nice demi-sec champagne, or chocolate covered strawberries and champagne.

I have just written an
ebook,
that we just released on our website about pairing chocolate and wine together. It was a fun project. I am passionate about wine tasting, throw in chocolate and you have in my opinion the two top comfort food groups :-) I love them both. Before I ever experienced them together though, the thought of enjoying them didn''t really appeal to me. They can't really go together, can they??
I though that a couple of years ago, before I tried it. Today I am a firm believer that they are a marriage made in heaven. Green and blacks chocolate is definately what I recommend for wine and chocolate tasting. You want a nice gourmet chocolate, for this venue.
Don't go with a low quality corner store bar. You want a chocolate bar with a certain percentage of cocoa in it too, depending on which wines you will pair it with. They have so many different types of bars to choose from. It really gives you a chance to experiment with all kinds of flavors and cocoa levels in the bars.
Have fun with it, pick some bars with other flavors in them as well, such as cherry. Then pick a wine with a hint of cherry as well...mmmmmm, to die for.
Cheers
